Purchasing a used vehicle may be financially beneficial in the short term, but it could lead to expensive repairs that outweigh the savings. Consumer Reports has gathered reviews of used cars for years and shared which vehicles have the most significant negative reviews with over 20,000 miles. Even some of the most celebrated higher-end brands have had trouble with specific model years. Here are the cars that are utilized almost entirely for money. According to Consumer Reports, they are highly reliable and easy to maintain.

Jeep Grand Cherokee: 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016

Jeep enjoys talking about the vehicles’ off-road capabilities, but several models should only avoid the roadways in general. The company’s propensity to fail declined in 2007, followed by a similar pattern from 2011 to 2014, and again in 2016.
